Ruthie Perez:
"My Angel Cat" in the current issue of Angels
on Earth
Cystic Fibrosis is still part of RUTHIE PEREZ’s life—but what a good life it is. “I’m getting married!” she told us.
“Perry’s been my friend for five years, but one day we just started looking at each other differently.” Ruthie’s whole family is involved in the
preparations. Dad’s walking her down the aisle, Mom’s doing alterations on her dress, brother Larry will be performing the music, and her sister,
Mary, is her maid of honor. “Perry wasn’t a cat person when we met,” says Ruthie, “but now that he’s gotten to know Jack he’s adopted a cat of
his own, Tiger.” For more on Cystic Fibrosis visit

Bill McKinney:
"Big Rig Message" in the current issue of Angels
on Earth
Trucking was a new venture for BILL McKINNEY. “A real adventure,” he says. He drove countless hauls cross-country for two
years. “I really enjoyed seeing so much of the USA, but driving a truck can be hard on the family.” He was on the road for three weeks out of every month.
Lewlee, his wife of 30 years, took care of the house, and Bill called her frequently while he was away. He says his week at home just made him appreciate
his marriage all the more. For more visit

Patty Schramm Jones:
"Along Came Baby Spike" in the current issue of Angels
on Earth
White is a very rare and desirable color for Chihuahuas, but that’s not the only thing that makes Spike special. “Chihuahuas are notorious for being hard to socialize,” says PATTY JONES, “but Spike loves to have guests over to the house.” Because of their size most Chihuahuas feel nervous around strangers, which accounts for their reputation as a loud, hyperactive breed. This fear also explains the strong attachment Chihuahuas form to their owners.
